Please read the following information and make sure you are clear on how our Autosport International Celebrity Kart Challenge actually works

THE AIM OF THE EVENT IS:

  1. Raise funds for and awareness of our chosen charities
  2. Allow members of public exclusive access to race with and against some of the biggest names in all forms of International Motor Sport.

The event will have no more than sixteen teams.

Each team will be constructed of four celebrity status drivers plus two members of public.
(To qualify as a ‘celebrity’ each driver must have raced in at least two years of British motor sport or one year in International Motor Sport or be deemed a celebrity for the status they hold in their area of expertise. IE Pop music, TV or other sport)

Each team will be joined by two drivers taken as ‘members of public’. Racing4charity reserve the right to allow teams to recruit two further celebrity drivers but these must pay the £300.00 entry fee each.

Each team must raise a minimum of £600.00.

AGE LIMIT. No driver shall be younger than 16 years.

The event will be run along the rules and guidance of the ’Kart Supplier’. The ’Kart Supplier’ will forward the rules and guidance at least 3 months prior to the event.

The Celebrity Challenge will be 1.5 hours in endurance.

There will be a 30 minute free practice and qualifying session prior to the race, all drivers must complete at least 5 laps.

Each driver must take part in the race.

Each team will complete 5 pit stops minimum.

The organiser and/or the kart supplier reserve the right to eject any person with a driving standard below the required level or of a dangerous level from the event. No refund will be given.
